In its beginnings, FEMPO started as a free social program to help women who have suffered, or are suffering from breast cancer.

In Chile, a social campaign is carried out at the national level, "SOLO POR TU SONRISA", and at the international level, "CROSSING BORDERS", with the objective of:

Reconstruction of the areola-nipple complex in mastectomized women; attenuation of scars and creation of eyebrows in women undergoing chemotherapy - radiotherapy.

En el año 2017 para formalizar este programa social, liderado por Paola Gateño Caraccoli, se crea Fundación FEMPO (Fundación de Micropigmentación Oncológica).

Currently present in Santiago de Chile as a branch in America; and in Barcelona, Spain, as a branch in Europe, with hundreds of women benefiting from our work and with more than 5,000 procedures performed worldwide and without socioeconomic distinction, thus recovering their physical and emotional quality of life.

FUNDACIÓN FEMPO, tiene como misión, asistir gratuitamente a las mujeres sobrevivientes de cáncer de mama, acompañándolas a seguir tras una mastectomía y estando presente en la prevención de aquellas mujeres que deben extirparse las glándulas mamarias, ante el análisis genético positivo ( BRCA1 y BRCA), a través de la recreación del complejo areola pezón, y de los procedimientos paliativos a los efectos de la quimioterapia, mediante la técnica de la micropigmentación oncológica, y así continuar con su vida post mastectomía, devolviendo la sonrisa, la alegría y la intimidad.

Tu contribución tiene como objetivo financiar la reconstrucción del complejo areola pezón a través de la técnica de micropigmentación oncológica, a mujeres que se han visto enfrentadas a una mastectomía, a consecuencia de un cáncer de mama y con procedimientos paliativos a los efectos de la quimioterapia, en atenuar cicatrices post cirugías y en la reconstrucción de cejas, mediante la técnica antes mencionada.
